Citizens Advice Trustees Wanted
Could you give 12 – 15 hours a month to provide direction and leadership to our vital local service?
- Do you want to help the community where you study, live or work?
- Do you want to make sure your community gets the advice services you need now and in the future?
You might have useful knowledge and skills gained from your work or personal life that you’d like to share. People from all backgrounds are welcome and we aspire to have a diverse trustee board that reflects our clients and communities.
We’re looking for people to get involved in leading our charity, to help us develop our advice services for people in our communities who need them and to secure the vital resources we need to go forward. This is a volunteer role but all reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
We offer a full induction and training programme.
You do not need experience of working or volunteering with Citizens Advice service, although any experience of advice services or charity organisations is a welcome bonus. We are looking for people with a wide variety of skills and a diversity of experience. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills and give something back to the local community.
